Lions Seeks Shoppers for Flea Market|
March 2017 --
The Fond du Lac Lions are seeking shoppers for their
upcoming flea market on Sunday, March 19 in the Recreation
Building at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds.
March is Vision Awareness Month, so the Lions will be
collecting glasses and used hearing aids at the door. There
is free admission to the market with the donation of one
pair of glasses or hearing aid. A $1 admission fee will be
charged to all other shoppers 13 years and older. This
donation to the Lions and Lioness goes to support local
children who attend the Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt.
Statewide, close to 1,500 blind, hard of hearing,
cognitively disabled and diabetic children attend the camp
free of charge. The clubs also donate to the Boys and Girls
Club, Back to School Program, Habitat for Humanity, the
First Books program and the Boy Scouts and SEA Scouts. A
complete list of organizations that the club supports is
located on the club’s website fonddulaclions.org.
The Fond du Lac Lioness Club will provide the food service
for the customers.
