The Fond du Lac Evening Lions Club placed an optical reader in the home of Fond du Lac resident, Wayne Schmidt, 370 Ellis St.  Wayne’s sight has deteriorated to a degree that he could no longer read print that is normal size with glasses.  Lions help individuals who need assistance with purchasing expensive items so they can function like people with full vision.  Pictured is Wayne Schmidt, seated, and Ed Barnes, president of the Fond du Lac Evening Lions.  The Lions Club is always looking for individuals who would like to join the club and help the club with their activities.  Contact the club at 920-204-6864 or at fonddulaclions.org
