Paul Hunt receives Award
Melvin Jones Fellowship presented to worthy Lion

Paul Hunt was
awarded the coveted Melvin Jones Fellowship by his fellow
club members at the club's Installation of Officers dinner held at
the Eden Lions Steak Fry. Presenting the plaque is
President Ed Barnes, left, and 1st Vice District Governor
Elect Fred Gebhart (Stockbridge Lions), right.
A Melvin Jones Fellowship is awarded by the
Lions Clubs International Foundation upon receipt of a
$1,000 donation by the club or an individual to the
foundation's humanitarian relief fund.
Lion Paul has served the club for seven
years. He can be counted on to help out at all the fund raisers
and also services the mint stations around the city.
Other Melvin Jones Fellows in the club include,
Wayne Bargenquast, Frank Bartzen, Bob Berryman, Charles
Browning, Tom Bucher, Betty Clausen, PDG Tom
Clausen, Elaine Colton, PDG Gary Colton, Erv Karls, Mike Konen,
and IPDG Gary Silah.
